Ford Motor Company have a large range of 4x4 Ford Rangers in their fleet of vehicles, but recently ADO took delivery of a different type of Ford Ranger in the shape of the team from the FordSTA Strategy and Business Office department. It was the idea of Jeff Lamer from the team, who after visiting our Poets Corner site for a Meerkat and Raccoon Dog Experience was compelled to learn about how ADO want to transform the site and develop it further for the community and build a place where more healthcare and education services can be offered in an outdoor wildlife environment.
Gary McHolland-Pilcher, the Operations Executive at Animal Days Out CIC, was overwhelmed by the Ford Motor Company CSR day provided by the STA Strategy and Business Office team visiting their site on Friday 14th July.
“ The visit from Ford exceeded all our expectations for the day. The teams were totally focussed throughout and demonstrated a determined objective to get the agenda completed. They actually achieved much more than anticipated and managed to improve and develop new areas beyond our original schedule. We really appreciate the help from the team as they got on with the job with tremendous enthusiasm and worked seamlessly with our own small team on the ground. All at ADO would like to thank Ford for attending on the day and making a real difference in helping us to achieve some important development on the land that will benefit children, young people and adults who visit for our therapeutic and healthcare services.”
