Our ADO Mini-Explorers Preschool Children opened a local store for a well known national institute recently. The Co-op at Albany Park Local Shops has been redeveloped and our very own Mini-Explorers cut the ribbon when it reopened on Wednesday 13th September.
The shop has recently undergone a major redevelopment with internal refit and Irfan, the shop manager, asked that the Mini Explorers attend and cut the ribbon for the new grand opening! As part of their learning curriculum, the Mini-Explorers often visited the shop and enjoyed the experience of seeing how the local business and local people gathered in the shop and how it was a hub for the community to get on with their day to day lives. Manager Irfan recognised this and was quick to give ADO a call as soon as the opening date was revealed. The Mini-Explorers enjoyed being a special part in the proceedings and it was another wonderful experience for them.
ADO would like to thank Irfan for the opportunity and for the very kind donation from his head office of £200, which will be used for the materials and building of a brand new 'Crow's Nest' feature at the Mini Explorers Garden. Thanks Irfan and Thanks Co-op!
