Co-op Local Community Fund
Do you do a bit of shopping at the Valliers Wood Co-op Supermarket on Halfway Street, Sidcup?
If so, you will be helping raise funds for ADO! Shoppers that purchase Co-op branded products and services will raise money for ADO right up until the end of October 2018. Yes, that's a whole year of fundraising. ADO will also recieve an equal share from the sale of carrier bags.
The more you shop, the more Co-op will share with us.
We are proud to have been chosen for the Local Community Fund and our aim is to raise funds to improve our facilities at our local sites to provide many more interactive opportunities, for children, young people and adults through our Education and Healthcare services.
In essence we are looking to raise funds to improve the facilities at the Outdoor Preschool Nursery at Albany Park and depending on how much is raised, we would like to add to the facilities at our Poets Corner Health and Education Centre. The Outdoor Preshool Nursery has become a important hub for the community providing mush desired childcare for many young families within the Sidcup and neighbouring areas. As a Not-For-Profit, money raised through revenue is re-invested back into the business to continually provide opportunities for children, young people and adults, specifically with additional needs or mental ill health as well as the Early Years Children at the Preschool. Its always hard balancing the books, which is why the Local Community Fund is a tremendous opportunity for ADO to raise additional funds, so that we can put our heart and soul into providing more activities and facilities that would really benefit the community.
We have a big community presence in the area and with the support of the Local Community Fund, we can ensure that the return in your investment by shopping at the Co-op on Halfway Street will benefit the community directly.
