Changes at ADO

All Out For Health and Education!

After 8 years of providing ADO Encounters in the form of animal parties, animal experiences and park events for thousands of children, young people and adults across hundreds of venues, ADO have announced they will now be concentrating solely and fully on their health and education services going forward. It has been a tough choice to make, as ADO set the standards for professional and licensed animal encounters that have been hugely popular across London and the South East during their time. Now the business has matured and grown and is now an important industry leader in alternative healthcare and education. The ambitions of the company means that we simply can't do everything!

Jack Does It Again!

Kallum's Good For Number 6

Hot on the heels of our recent winner, Kallum Goodchild becomes our 6th Jack Petchey Achievement Award winner. Kallum is one of our ADO Mentors and another committed young person who helps out in many areas. I'm sure Kallum is an entrepreneur in the making, as our first memories of him helping was at a fund raising event nearly four years ago, when he was a lot smaller, but he built his own selling stall and sold refreshments and snacks raising money for ADO. He has matured into a bright, helpful and always willing member of the Mentors team, especially during our Holiday Clubs and events. His peers voted for Kallum for his hard work in helping the younger children at Holiday Club and his great support to them when they get upset or have hurt themselves. He is always on hand to comfort them, showing great empathy. His prize money will be put towards the Low Ropes equipment we purchased to give children and young people a great opportunity to learn new adventure and physical skills. Well done Kallum!

Jack Of All Trades

Taylor Wins For Number 5

A big well done to Taylor Thomas, who becomes ADO's 5th Jack Petchey winner. Taylor is one of ADO's Young Leaders and has been helping in many areas of the business since taking on that role. She is a great all rounder who can adapt herself to many of the roles required at ADO. Taylor has gained valuable work experience working as part of the ADO support team for many events over the last couple of years and is a valued member of the ADO team. She was voted by her peers for many reasons, but primarily for her kind, committed, helpful mentoring, always with a big smile across her face at all times. Her prize money will be put towards the Low Ropes equipment we purchased to give children and young people a great opportunity to learn new adventure and physical skills. Well done Taylor!

A Solution For Working ParentsEarly & Late Club for Working Parents and Carers

Peace Of Mind For Full Day Childcare

Can you not get time off work? Do you have an important meeting in your calendar? If you need first class childcare then our Early and Late Clubs provide the best solution for your commitments.

Early Club

What is easier than to be able to drop your children off on the way to work. Our Early Club starts bright and breezy at 8am on the dot. You can drop your children off at any time from 8am. We don't clock watch! We can get your child registered in a jiffy so that you can get off to your place of work knowing you don't have to worry about them. Our Early Club is popular. There are many activities for the children to do before registration at 9.45am. We don't just sit your children in a corner with some paper and pencils. We have a programme of activities even before the full days activities start. The older children will often team up with the club leaders to help prepare some of the activities for later in the day. They may be involved in supporting some animal care as well.

Early Years children also get the benefit of having a light breakfast to get them going in the morning.

Late Club

The Late Club is a session that means that as parents and carers you don't have to worry or rush off early from work to pick your children up at our normal finish time of 4pm. Our Late Club continues until 6pm, leaving plenty of time to pick them up. Again, the flexible timings mean that you can pick your children up at any time until the 6pm deadline. The Late Club is packed full of relaxing play periods to help your children calm down at the end of a long day for them. Older children will often help support our leaders throughout the late session.

* Please Note That Late Club Will Be Unavailable At The Festive Club For Rangers Due To Current Lighting Restrictions At Poets Corner

Pricing

Our pricing for the Early and Late Clubs are very reasonable. Our early years clubs, ages 2 to 5 years are slightly more expensive due to increased staffing ratios as enforced by Ofsted and includes a light breakfast. The pricing works out cheaper than your average childcare costs

Early Club - £5 or £7 for Early Years

Late Club - £5 or £8 for Early Years

So that's £10 per day or £15 for Early Years for peace of mind that you have your children in safe hands so that you or the rest of your family can get on with on with what you need to do.

How To Book

Simply add the required number of Early, Late or both Early and Late Clubs to your registration form when asked to do so. We will then calculate the price and let you know when you ring to pay.

Ad-hoc Early and Late Clubs can still be booked throughout the course of the week in case anything crops up where you need childcare. Simply ring the office first, enquire whether there is space and then pay over the phone with your Credit or Debit card or pay by Online Banking Transfer.
