ADO Become Pearson Accredited

After a very long process, we are pleased to announce that we have been accredited with a successful application to deliver Pearson qualifications.

What does this mean? Well, in a nutshell, it means that we can now offer BTEC qualifications to our young people and we have become a recognised exam centre.

In addition, as part of this process, we have also passed the stricter JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) accreditation, which means we can offer a wider range of qualifications.

Immediately the first two qualifications we have successfully applied for are, BTEC Level1 and 2 in Animal Care and BTEC Level 2 in Countryside and Environment.

Managing Director Victoria McHolland-Pilcher, who heads up the ADO Education team, stated, "To achieve Pearson standards is a great step forward for ADO in our quest to offer a whole range of qualifications for our young people. We will continue working hard and developing our education services and will now focus on our aims and objectives in becoming an independent school."
