The Easter Holiday Club runs for 9 days and is packed full of great activities, plenty of outdoor fun and offers parents and carers a brilliant programme of variety and first class child care throughout the Easter Holidays.
Each day we run a completely different programme. No one day is the same! Typical of the time of year our focus is on Spring themes utilising the natural resources in the woods and open land at this time of year. We offer crafts, challenges, games and of course our live animals.
♦ Live Animals - We have over 50 species of Live Animals - Get to meet many of them on selected days
♦ Forest School - Using traditional Forest School techniques to interact and learn in the natural outdoor environment
♦ Low Ropes - Providing physical and play activities with themed challenges on our professional low ropes equipment
Mini Explorer Information (Ages 2 to Preschool 5 Years of Age)
The Easter Holiday Club provides early years childcare at our Mini-Explorers Garden Venue in Bexley for our usual Preschool Nursery parents and subject to availibility other parents whom regularly use our holiday club services. The 9 days will explore various aspects of outdoor activities for the children.
Existing customers will be able to choose all the usual session options as per the normal ADO Mini-Explorers timetable - HERE>. Please note a packed lunch and snacks will need to be provided for the Easter Holiday Club. Breakfast and After School Club light snacks will be provided for extended session bookings.
Non-Mini Explorer parents will not be able to book individual PM Afternoon or After School PM sessions, unless they are part of an Extended Full Day Session.
Young Explorer Information (Ages Reception 5 to 7 Years of Age)
We are pleased to announce that Young Explorers can now join and be registered at our Mini-Explorers Garden Venue in Bexley, which is particularly useful if they have younger siblings already attending. Existing Preschool customers can take advantage of booking their older siblings into the same sessions.
Non Mini-Explorer parents will be able to take advantage of the standard core day, AM Morning sessions with the addition of early and late club options.
Rangers Information (Ages 8 to 14)
The Rangers will be involved in nine days of conservation based activities at our Healthcare and Education Centre, Poets Corner, Keats Road, Welling, with the last day ending with some treats and Easter themed activities.

Mini-Explorers and Young Explorers
The Easter Club will follow our normal day to day routines the children are used to at term time Preschool, except, we will over the course of the 9 days have some special themed activities with the highlights below:

The Rangers will be down at our Poets Corner site, involved in some spring conservation and ecology activities. We will have our themed days as follows:
♦ Tuesday 3rd - Woodland Ranger - Coppicing, Dead Hedging, Learn How To Use Tools, Creating Pathways, Wood Disc Art, Natural Weaving Frames and Peashooters!
♦ Wednesday 4th and Tuesday 10th - I'm A Ranger, Get Me Out Of Here - Natural Mammal Enrichment, Animal Interaction with Special Guests, Animal Keeper, The Big Bad Bug Hunt, A Stroll With The Goats, Walk Like A Ferret!, Horse Grooming, Finger Puppet Making
♦ Thursday 5th and Monday 9th - Bushcraft Survivor - Natural Den Building, Learn Your Fire Skills, You Donut! Make Donuts and then cook them on the fire, Corn on the Cob Cooking, Plus all the usual array of bushcraft skills learning, using and making some traditional bushcraft tools.
♦ Friday 6th & Thursday 12th - Rainforest Challenge - Meet the Creepy Creatures and our Reptiles, String Bling with Lime Bark, Creature Creations, Rainforest Parachute Games, including our brilliant and popular Low Ropes Challenges
♦ Wednesday 11th - Forest Adventure - Journey Stick Creation, Making Cocktails, Mud Stories, Willow Weaving, Woodland Mindfulness, Man Made Shelter Building
♦ Friday 13th Only - Easter Eggstravaganza - Easter Egg Hunt, Egg Pin Bowling, Design and Decorate Your Egg, Egg and Spoon Olympics, The Eggsellent Evolution Game, Easter Willow Basket Making
So in summary, a nice little break for your children at Easter and a chance for parents-carers to get on with their daily chores or work, without having the kids tugging on your coat tails!
