The May Short Breaks Holiday Club runs for 4 days and is packed full of great activities, plenty of outdoor fun and offers parents and carers a brilliant programme of variety and first class services for children and young people.


These day sessions will be structured with activities over the 5 houes and includes attendees being able to have their lunch around the campfire! Please make sure your young person attends with a packed lunch and refillable drink bottle!

♦ Registration Begins at 9.45am until 10.15am

♦ Session 1 - 10.15am until 10.45am and then Break 10.45am until 11.00am Short Breaks Register

♦ Session 2 - 11am until 11.30am

♦ Session 3 11.30am until 12.15pm  and then Lunch Around The Campfire - 12.15pm until 12.45pm

♦ Between 12.45pm-2.45pm, there will be additional animal encounters and/or woodland time/ bushcraft skills. A snack break can be provided if required

♦ Collection Times 2.45pm until 3pm

Key Points

Fee - Our 10am-3pm day rate is £30 per day

Support - Parents and Carers will be able to support their child or young person - please be advised a maximum of 2:1 allowed

Lunch - There will be no lunch supplied, please bring a packed lunch and snacks

Live Animals - We have over 40 species of Live Animals - Get to meet many of them on selected days

Bushcraft - We have many bushcraft activities that are themed to provide children with challenges to learn new skills

Forest School - Using traditional Forest School techniques to interact and learn in the natural outdoor environment 

Easter Fun - We will be incorporating Spring Time in to our crafts and games for a fun, spring-May theme! 

Short Break Rangers (Ages 8 to 17 Years of Age)

The Short Breaks Holiday Club is open to children and young people living or looked after in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. All children and young people will be assessed and determined whether they are eligible for the Short Breaks service.
